Abstract
Digital government assumes sharing and use of government data without restrictions. However, different reports and indicators presented in this paper show that in Croatia, core register data could and should be used and shared more extensively. In this way, better services to citizens and companies could be offered. The first step to accomplish this goal is to examine core registers in Croatia, in order to detect possible issues and problems which hinder data use, sharing and exchange. For that purpose, a project was started whose goal is to analyse basic register data in Croatia. Findings from the first phase of the project, including the first set of registers, are presented in this paper.
